What does A2LA ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation mean?
ISO/IEC 17025 is the international standard for testing laboratory competence. Labs must demonstrate technical proficiency, equipment calibration traceability, and quality management. A2LA (American Association for Laboratory Accreditation) is the US body that independently audits and certifies labs against this standard. Why does batch-specific matter vs. a generic certification?
A generic product-level certification confirms that some version of a product was tested at some point.
